The Role

We are looking for a "Genius" Structural QA/QC Engineer--someone who possesses an eagle eye for detail and a deep obsession with structural perfection. In the world of high-rise construction, there is zero margin for error. You will be responsible for ensuring that every cubic meter of concrete and every ton of steel meets the highest international and UAE standards.

Core Responsibilities

Quality Management Systems:

Develop and implement project-specific

Project Quality Plans (PQP)

and

ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)

specifically for high-rise structural elements (Raft foundations, Shear walls, Core walls).

Structural Inspections:

Lead inspections for reinforcement, formwork, and post-tensioning. You must be able to spot a misaligned bar or a non-compliant stirrup at a glance.

Material Integrity:

Oversee the testing of high-grade concrete ($C60$ and above). Manage NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), cube tests, and slump analysis to ensure design strength is achieved.

Verticality & Tolerance:

Monitor and verify building verticality and floor levels, ensuring the "climb" of the building remains within the strict tolerances allowed for skyscrapers.

Audit & Compliance:

Conduct internal audits and manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports). You will be the final authority on whether a structural stage is ready for the "Pour."

Submittal Review:

Evaluate Method Statements and Material Submittals to ensure they align with Dubai Municipality (DM) and British/American Standards (BS/ASTM).

The "Genius" Profile

Education:

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (First Class). A Master's in Structural Engineering is a major plus.

Technical DNA:

You must be able to read complex structural drawings like a second language. You understand the "Why" behind the "What."

Experience:

6-12 years in QA/QC, with at least

two completed high-rise cycles

(G+30 minimum).

Standards Expert:

Deep knowledge of ACI 318, BS 8110, and Dubai Municipality structural codes.

We need someone who is firm with contractors and uncompromising on safety and quality.

Software:

Proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD (for reviewing shop drawings).
