to lead and manage quality assurance and quality control activities for facade and aluminum works from
design review and fabrication through installation and handover
. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site coordination skills, and the ability to ensure full compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor
QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection systems
for aluminum and facade works.
Conduct and supervise
site inspections and factory inspections
for facade materials, fabrication, and installation.
Review, approve, and control
material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and quality documentation
.
Ensure facade works comply with
approved drawings, specifications, and international standards
(ASTM, BS, EN).
Lead identification, issuance, and closure of
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
and corrective/preventive actions.
Coordinate closely with
consultants, clients, project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors
.
Monitor workmanship quality during installation of
curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding, louvers, and glazing systems
.
Prepare and maintain
QA/QC reports, inspection records, test results, and quality logs
.
Support
project handover, as-built documentation, and final close-out
activities.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in
Civil or Mechanical Engineering
.
7+ years of experience
in QA/QC for
aluminum & facade projects
(mandatory).
Strong technical knowledge of
facade systems
, including curtain wall, windows, doors, glazing, and cladding.
Hands-on experience with
inspection, testing, quality audits, and documentation control
.
Thorough understanding of
ASTM, BS, EN standards
and project QA/QC requirements.
Proficient in
MS Office
;
AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
.
Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
UAE project experience preferred
.
Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
.
