Job Description

• Ensuring timely submission for material technical submittal for approvals according to project specifications involving all supporting documents, compliance statements and necessary follow-ups to obtain the approval and maintaining tracking system, cycle of delays and approvals for extension of time if required.
• Reviewing all subcontractor documents such as method statements, Material submittal & shop drawings.
• Ensures that suppliers meet the agreed technical specifications by implementing the relevant quality checks, by regular follow-ups site as per approval/ order.
• Monitoring the inspection/testing on site activities according to the Project Specifications.
• Identifying, obtaining necessary approval for long lead items and following up as per Approved Baseline Program to get the material as per project requirements.
• Preparing, Monitoring Procurement and Follow up for as per the work program.
• Setup and monitor QA/QC activities at site.
• To maintain the company Quality management system & continually improve its effectiveness.
• Carrying out the factory inspections and witnessing tests.
• Checking materials delivery and handling, Performing final Inspection and release of materials from the manufacturers & Supplier\xe2\x80\x99s.
• Liaising with consultant\'s representatives for material inspection upon delivery.
• Assisting management representative in implementation of ISO 9001 systems in project execution.
• Preparing the monthly Quality reports.
• Notify the Site Superintendent/Supervisor and Project Manager on any deviation observed from the construction specifications, to initiate necessary corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Testing Laboratory (Independent & DCL, RCL & Third Party Inspection agencies) for the required inspection and testing.
• Preparing monthly progress reports & status reports
• General supervision of day-to-day testing activities.

Education:

• Bachelor\'s (Preferred)

Experience:

• Senior QA/QC Engineer: 10 years (Preferred)
