JOB PURPOSE

• Quality lead will be responsible for ensuring we have the best quality products in all fresh (Fruits and vegetables., meat) categories.
• To supervise, develop, maintain and continuously improve the documented quality assurance program for all fresh produces
• To ensure all products quality parameters are effectively followed and does not exceed the critical limits
• To initiate corrective action for all deviations and ensure products supplied to our customers are of best quality
• To verify and ensure all processes of audits are followed during inward in both store and warehouses To continuously coordinate with operations team on improvement of the processes and advise solutions for issues
• To monitor the customer feedback and complaints on quality and ensure they are solved through right measures
• To conduct regular audit of the products at supplier end, and also at the stores to ensure the quality standards are met

Requirements

• Experience in \xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bFresh Produce quality or procurement : 2-5 years
• Strong knowledge in the quality standards of fresh produce : certification preferred
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Ability to pro-actively measure and manage product quality
• An ability to work at senior level cross functionally with other departments
• Hands on experience of QMS, preferably having led and completed audits
• Experience of dealing with Fruits and vegetables, meat suppliers

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Creation and implementation of strong quality audit and control processes in stores
• Quality of the fresh products we sell
• Quality complaints from customers on fresh products
• Adherence to quality audit processes in stores and warehouses
