For individuals who can take the initiative, but work well within a team.We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management team based in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for managing mid complexity projects (approx. 3/4). You will lead a project team to achieve optimal balance between cost, time and quality and between cost, benefit and risk on projects of complexity up to (and including) 5 by:

• Ensuring the effective and efficient execution of the project in such a way that the QHSSE, technical, commercial and contractual requirements are met stimulating effective decision making.
• Taking part and leading discipline standardization / improvement initiatives.

Key contacts and relationships include Project Delivery Managers, Project Directors and Client Project Management Teams. You will lead project teams and work collaboratively across multiple service lines and business units. You will also mentor and support junior members of the team.Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects for a key Clients (as defined by the Senior Leadership Team), with significant amount of risk exposure and financial performance.
• First and primary customer contact
• Accountable for the financial reporting of project(s) within the contractual obligations
• Full responsibility of the project(s) with the support of other departments
• Manage multiple stakeholders to ensure project completion (stakeholders, contractors, customer)
• Early development of execution strategy with ITO Commercial Manager and ensure successful transition of the project
• Develop and manage the risk register with mitigation action
• Timely elevation of issues through Daily management
• Continuous Risk & Opportunities register maintenance and mitigation actions
• Contract flip page with the project team to ensure all requirements are understood and aligned
• Understand, drives and hold the project team accountable for ownership of key performance targets i.e. Rev, CM, Cash
• Align the project team when conflicting requirements arise (cost vs schedule, cost vs risk, etc.)
• Support functional project managers in escalation within project (across functions, with Customer, with Partner)
• Understand the performance risk ahead of time (not only at the end of the project when official PT are run) and work with Project Management Office team to mitigate the risks

What Skills & Experience Will You Have?EducationBSC Engineering ideally with a major in Civil EngineeringPrevious experience required

• 10 + years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Project Manager

• Previous experience of QHSSE Management System and QHSSE programmes.
• Knowledge of Autocad is a must
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• An Arabic speaker would be an advantage
• Good commercial knowledge for assessing business risks and opportunities to undertake commercial negotiations
• Ability to collaborate with other team members in developing strategy and implementing business plans
• Strong planning, organizing and priority setting skills, with a proven ability to manage teams
• Broad technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors
• Demonstrated ability in meeting project budget, schedule, and quality
• Contract management & claim experiences
• Financial control knowledge and understanding
• Demonstrated professional interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to influence others and lead and inspire teams.
• High level of resilience and accountability
• Good networking and communication skills

License/ certification/ qualification

• PMP (Project Management Professional \xe2\x80\x93 USA) or APM (Associate Project Management \xe2\x80\x93 UK) certification
• Formal qualification in Safety discipline or adequate experience in Safety field e.g. NEBOSH (International) Diploma, or equivalent.
