Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

Package: up to 40,000 AED per month plus benefits

I am currently supporting a family owned hospitality group, here in the UAE, who are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their rapidly growing operations.

Although the role will be based in Dubai, you will be expected to oversee multiple operations across the GCC,for example: restaurant refurbs in Kuwait & Dubai, restaurant renovations in Bahrain, new restaurant builds in Dubai etc. Ultimately, the Senior Project Manager will beresponsible for overall management of the projects including liaising with the external agencies such as Design Consultants, Contractors and Vendors to deliver the requirements of end user, supervising members of the maintenance team, overseeing project implementation, reporting & monitoring capital budgets and day to day evaluation of projects.

The role will report directly into the CEO and we can only consider those who come from a hospitality/restaurant background. Being able to speak Arabic will also be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Manage overall process of the project from concept to commission.
• Provide on-site leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment.
• Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
• Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
• Monitor Maintenance team staff performance.
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
• Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
• Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
• Act as an internal quality control check for the project.
• Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
• Assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration or litigation, as needed.
• Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and services.
• Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.
• Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CEO and key stakeholders.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project and program team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle.
• Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
