Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Salary: 30 - 35,000 AED per month
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Start Date: Immediate

Position Overview

The role is responsible for mega project cycle from (0) Pitch lifecycle, (1) Project Conception/ Initiation (2) Project Definition/ Planning (3) Project Launch/ Execution (4) Project Performance & Control (5) Project Closure. Project management tasks can also include preparation of tender/ production briefs/ project package documentation, liaising with clients/ supply chain/ strategic partners and internal business/ support departments.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

1. Tender Response | Phase 1-2

  • Respond from brainstorming to creative & design development, strategy white paper, operational and production methodology to commercial budget parameters.
  • Perform and provide necessary support to the team in regard to research and development, sourcing, deck formulation, technical compliances, submission and post-tender clarification responses.
  • Key resource planning over responses and devising project response timelines with the project coordinator.

2. Project Management (Phase 3 - 6)
  • Cost, Quality, Resources w/clear roles & responsibilities and Timeline Identification.
  • Establishing performance and baseline measurement system.
  • Development & assessment of (1) Scope statements (2) Master Project Timelines w/ milestones (3) Gantt Charts (4) Communication Plans (5) Risk Management Plans
  • Plan and coordinate all meetings and workshops.
  • Minute meetings recording progress, actions and decisions.
  • Capture and distribute all relevant project information and content, design, and production output for client reporting.
  • Oversee and control the project production cost plan
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication across the project team ensuring clear and regular flow of project development information and design.
  • Identify core workstream integration points towards project program and interdependencies.
  • Act as a conduit for the client and their clients.
  • Liaise with the core project workstream leads.
  • Liaise with the appointed project stakeholders to ensure all planned content systems are fit for their purpose and the content team\xe2\x80\x99s output is coordinated with the program.
  • Modify the master project timeline as needed with the Planning Manager.
  • Plan and/ or coordinate travel requirements for the project production team, including hotels, flight and freight requirements with procurement.
  • Reviews tender documents, extract main criteria, and monitor the entire tender process.
  • Communicate with the clients, submitting all necessary packages to the Client.
  • Monitoring the entire project leading period throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with the project team and the subcontractors on all variations and costs.
  • Liaise with the procurement departments on all technical procurement/ commercial & contract matters.
  • Co-plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for site operation with production lead for program delivery per key milestones and payment instructions over AR & APs.
  • Review workstream production and operating reports and resolve operational problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Compiles, stores, and retrieves all project data and production data.
  • Establish process start and stop over pre-show and post-show reporting of the projects.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in construction, project management or a related area of study.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management and Construction roles.
  • Must have at least 5 years of small to large-scale project and event management.
  • Event production experiences of 5 years and more will be a value-added plus for the role.
  • PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization.
  • Experience in managing delivery of customer-facing and internally-facing products or services.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office \xe2\x80\x93 Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Possess high attention to detail, prime organizational skills, critical thinking, creative mindset and a self-motivated go-getter.
  • Must have outstanding communication skills in written and spoken English and French.
