Description

Delivery of Enterprise Applications Services - Emirates ONLY

Identify and document requirements, conduct business and technical studies, evaluate, design, develop, integrate and implement information systems business solutions, and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, and management, security and service delivery with the help of all necessary supporting teams.

Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements, systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.

Lead and co-ordinate to translate business requirements into technology solutions. Includes fit-gap analysis & application of best practices to create reusable, configurable, & high performing application designs

Perform proactive investigations to surface opportunities for process improvements as well as assist in the preparation of functional specifications for newly proposed systems solutions, and assist in preparing and executing test plans for all changes and enhancements, and ensure to keep all end user training documentation current.

Be the front end single point of contact for the respective Business area for all their system solutions, reporting requirements, technology improvements etc...

Having commendable business knowledge with Aluminium industry trends and changes in respective Business areas related in order to help mapping the processes into respective SAP & Non-SAP business systems.

Responsible to fully understand the complete end-to-end processes in the respective Business areas.

Perform cost-benefit realisation for proposed and current systems to aid management in making implementation decisions and setting priorities.

Plan, evaluate, schedule, and implement in-house or turnkey projects in IT leading cross departmental teams and / or vendors to meet company / user objectives and priorities having ensured effective and efficient management of

resources assigned (e.g. Capital Expenditure Proposals).

To accurately balance the need of Information Security, Service Management and Business Continuity commensurate with the business needs without exposing the Organization's Information Assets to undue risk.

To be able to present and reason business cases and determine Return of Investments for IT related investments and continue to get management support.

Ensure that all systems that are developed are well integrated and efficiently support the business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Equivalent Bachelor degree.

Minimum Experience:

• More than 8 years' experience in the fields of IT Application design and development.
• Experience in the implementation of SAP and Non-SAP applications in an industrial environment. Preferably Aluminium / manufacturing industry.
• Experience of designing and delivering user training programs.

Skills:

• Excellent technical writing skills in the definition of SAP and Non-SAP user specifications.
• Sound Business knowledge couple with SAP functional expertise in respective area and market trends to sustain and improve the business.
• Ability to remain aware of current and proposed SAP and Non-SAP developments as applicable to a given functional area.
