We are looking for Project Engineer with Design Engineering background and Gulf Experience, Qualification: Mechanical/Chemical Engineer

It is a permanent contract to work at Muscat office.

Please send relevant CVs with minimum 8 years' experience in Oil&Gas and minimum package expectations, time required for mobilization. The Minimum starting package shall be OMR 1,000/- all-inclusive for 5 days - 9 hrs/45 hrs/week.

Mobilization/demobilization flight and medical insurance will be provided by company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Single point responsibility for the execution of design engineering projects.

ï'· To fully understand the requirements of the office quality system and ensure these requirements are met. ï'· Ensure that HSE matters are given due consideration in project planning. ï'· Ensure projects are executed in line with Client/International/ standards and specifications. ï'· Actively pursue the evaluation and application of new technology in order to optimize future developments in terms of cost and operability. ï'· Supervise advice and guide the discipline staff to ensure that their work is of the required quality. Highlight issues that may arise in priorities, workload, competency, etc. ï'· To develop the scope of work handed over by the Client's project engineer for each project to achieve the specified deliverables. ï'· Exercising control over manpower and material resources in order to execute the project within budget, schedule, quality and HSE requirements. ï'· To exercise change control and variance control on each project. ï'· To ensure the communication with, and involvement of, all interested disciplines to each project. Reporting progress on projects to the Client's project engineer in a timely manner, highlighting issues which could impact on quality, cost, schedule or HSE matters. ï'· To actively train and encourage the development of Omani staff to fulfill project engineer roles. ï'· Prepare technical documentation for Company tender documentation.
