Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer with a background in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Polyethylene projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex engineering tasks, particularly in Detail Engineering, Data Sheets, and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE). As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of projects from concept to completion, with a focus on ensuring technical integrity, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering design activities for oil & gas, petrochemical, and polyethylene projects.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance in the preparation of detail engineering designs, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment specifications, and data sheets.
- Conduct and review Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) to select the best suppliers and contractors.
- Act as a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) representative in all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, construction, and commissioning to meet project goals.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proposing solutions and improvements when necessary.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and expectations are met.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and project teams, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or polyethylene projects.
- Extensive experience in detail engineering, including preparation of data sheets and technical specifications.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience in PMC roles for large-scale projects.
- Experience in managing or working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
