Job Description

Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues related to switchgear, lifts/elevators, UPS systems, and other building electrical infrastructure.

Support both preventive and corrective maintenance activities in alignment with company standards.

Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment, components, and installations, provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible Ensure that equipment is in good working order to prevent disruption of activities, recommend a replacement for old or faulty electrical components or fittings to the management Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget, and scheduling expenses for the electrical department Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and performance reports. Perform root cause analysis and contribute to performance improvement initiatives. Ensure full compliance with electrical safety codes and maintenance procedures. Keep a record of all stock and supplies, including the company's electrical equipment Troubleshoot breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services Provide a safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity-induced accidents and mishaps are prevented Take steps to prevent fire outbreaks by making appropriate recommendations to management Procure electrical fittings and components or supervise the staff charged with responsibility Supervise electrical works when new projects are undertaken Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.

An Electrical engineering degree with UPDA and a minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance/ FM is required
