Job Description

Assist the Project Manager in developing detailed construction plans. Break down project scope into actionable tasks and timelines. Coordinate between design, procurement, and construction teams. Ensure alignment between client expectations and project execution. Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Participate in inspection and testing of materials and workmanship. Document non-conformities and assist in corrective actions. Coordinate with procurement for material requisition and delivery tracking. Verify quantity take-offs and material submittals. Ensure timely delivery and proper storage of construction materials. Support the project team in tracking costs and resource usage. Review and analyze subcontractor bills, change orders, and cost variations. Help maintain project within budget constraints. Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress on-site. Prepare and maintain project schedules (using tools like MS Project or Primavera). Report delays and assist in developing recovery plans. Promote adherence to health and safety standards on-site. Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations. Participate in safety audits and risk assessments. Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and project correspondence. Assist in preparing progress reports for clients and senior management. Support close-out documentation and handover processes. Act as a liaison between the site team and the office. Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. Attend meetings and provide updates on project progress and challenges.
