Senior Project Engineer
Job Description
In charge of overlooking all activities necessary for the execution of all aluminum and glazing works at sites. Minimum 7 years experience in Aluminum Works field. The descriptions and requirements include (but are not limited to) the following:
An Engineering Degree.
Attending site meetings with Consultants and Contractors. Attending to all their requirements, providing them with weekly updates, follow ups with submittals and approvals. To be the main liaison between the Contractor/Consultant and our company.
Arranging Submittals for new projects, and following up with Contractor/Consultant/Client for approvals.
Coordinate with Design Department for shop drawings and design.
Carry out weekly meetings with Project Managers and Engineers to monitor the progress of works, pending submittals, approvals, etc... Reviewing reports of site progress and dealing directly with management. Any shortcomings to be highlighted periodically, as he/she will be in charge of handing over on time.
Knowledge of curtain wall, hinge and sliding systems, and their erection.
In charge of raising all site related correspondences with Contractor.
In charge of all contractual matters related to a project (variations).
Delivering the project(s) on time.
