We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Resident Engineer Railway (System) with a strong interdisciplinary background in System Engineering, RAM and Safety Assurance for large-scale railway and mobility infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical activities across multiple subsystems, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting the integration of safety and reliability processes throughout the project lifecycle. #LI-RK1
Key Accountabilities
Coordinate with Interface Management Lead Specialist.
Manage and supervise all railway electrical and system staff, including signalling, telecommunications, SCADA, and OCC. AFC, PSD, PIS, PAS, TVS, ECS, Fire Protection Water and Drainage (FWD) systems, substations, power distribution systems, overhead contact systems, Rolling stock, depot equipment, etc.;
Assist Interface Management Lead Specialist to ensure that the detailed design, specifications, standards and codes proposed by the Railway System Contractor(s) comply with the Employer's Requirements and Contract documents;
Assist the Interface Management Lead Specialist in coordinating among the Contractors (CP-01 to CP-09) to establish the design criteria for interfacing and integrating/harmonising;
Assist the Client in making Contractor(s)' design interface coordination and recommend measures to eliminate or mitigate potential conflicts and claims aiming to make integration/harmonisation in various elements in the Project in terms of construction, operation and maintenance;
Make suitable arrangements with their Specialists and engineers to monitor the performance of the Railway System Contractors and their Subcontractors;
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
Must have a professional qualification as a electrical or mechanical engineer or other applicable professional qualifications
20 years of professional experience
Must have proficiency in English
10 years of professional experience in railway system works, including one large-scale (>USD0.5 billion) underground/ elevated metro rail project
5 years of working experience as a Resident Engineer (Railway System) in the underground metro project
2 years of work experience in outside Expert's country
