We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer, to join the team based in Abu Dhabi City.

About The Role:

Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:

• Assists Project Managers in the execution of Projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in Project review meetings, HSE Workshops, Design review meetings, etc \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitors work in progress and prepares weekly report of the status of each assignment \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure project deliverable\'s are submitted as per planned schedule \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure interfaces/requirements between all disciplines are incorporated where required, to achieve objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Report project progress of close-out on weekly basis for presentation to management \xe2\x80\xa2 Interpret clients\' requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to aid and technical support. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate, organize and prioritize workload within a schedule. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing in the various disciplines, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide guidance and input during project implementation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in project reviews, Pre-Start-up Reviews etc as required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Time to time review of technical proposals and make amendments as to make the proposal viable. \xe2\x80\xa2 Attends all the company-organized training courses when invited. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be aware of and obey the Company Health, Safety and Environmental, and Quality rules & perform the activities as per company Standards. Ensures safe, quality, timely and cost-efficient project implementation Ensures high resource capacity utilization and efficiency in projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Suggests training and improvements on need basis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures that software for projects are available and efficiently utilized \xe2\x80\xa2 Acts as frontline towards customers and subcontractors, suppliers in projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Reports efficiently, timely and pro-actively to the management on project activities, deviations and achievements (minimum weekly basis) \xe2\x80\xa2 Measures and reports reliably projects progress (PoC), productivity efficiency, remaining work, cost and time in order to have proper and trustworthy revenue and cost recognition and financial (Gross Margin) forecasting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Suggests and implements timely and actively improvements in overall performance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Leads project control, engineering and procurement work in his/her projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures the agreed project deliverables are delivered in accordance to agreed quality, scope and schedule. \xe2\x80\xa2 Verifies all scope variations from scope, time and cost perspective, and presents them to management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Energy and Environmental objectives.

About You:

Engineering Graduate (BSc. or MSc.) \xe2\x80\xa2

Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in Project Management and Control out of which a minimum 10 years in the Oil & Gas (onshore and/or offshore), Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemical Industries

• Experienced in all stages of project delivery (Studies, FEED, and Detail Engineering)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent people management skills with a solid understanding of customer interface

• Willingness and ability to meet tight deadlines \xe2\x80\xa2 Willingness to overcome challenges and pressure during peak activities

• Fluent in the English language, both verbal and written
