Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Project Designer (Concept Design) to join our award-winning team based in Dubai, UAE. The position will be for a short term contract for a period of 6 months with a possibility of being extended. Potential candidates will be working remotely from their home country.

This position is responsible for playing a lead role in developing the final design for a project through a rigorous design process, including continued involvement in the development of the project from the \xe2\x80\x9cbeginning through completion\xe2\x80\x9d. Focus on detail documenting process in order to ensure design integrity and providing direct support to the Design Director.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Practical experience in early design phases such as conceptual and schematic design.
• Organising the work for design team.
• Organising design reviews as per project schedule.
• Reporting to the Design Director in a timely and accurate manner.
• Promoting a \'design culture\' with colleagues.
• Preparation of presentation documents with outstanding narrative and graphics.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10+ years of relevant work experience within a renowned architecture or design office, partnered with a Bachelor / Master degree in Architecture, Master planning, Design or relevant field from an accredited University or College program.

• Strong conceptual, graphic and design talent.
• Conceptual Design focused.
• Strong knowledge in local codes and international standards.
• Experience working on large scale international projects and architectural design competitions.
• Confidence in working in a complex and international environment.
• Knowledge on Model Making - styrocut, 3d printers, laser machine.
• An understanding of arts, graphics, social media and contemporary trends.

Proficiency in Revit, Autocad, Adobe Package (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Sketchup and Dynamo.
