To manage the design, procurement and construction such that the projects are completed within agreed budget, schedule milestones, quality and strict account of HSE aspects • To develop execution strategies and seek endorsement by senior management. • To ensure that effective business controls are applied in all projects and in accordance with corporate requirements. • To ensure that technical integrity in fully maintained and that any deviations to company standards/ procedures are formally approved and logged. • To resolve any claims arising from the design , procurement and construction contractors activity. • To ensure that cost detection opportunities are pursued and exploited wherever appropriate. • To activity pursued the identification, evaluation , testing and application of new technology in order to continuously optimize the life cycle cost, operability, maintenance, safety and enviormental impact as necessary. • To carry out all first line negotiations with contractors and to monitor technical and commercial performance of the same • To maintain clear and effective interfaces within the government gas directorate team , particularly the site based the construction team. • Manage and report budget and schedule on monthly basis. • Establish an effective document management system for the projects. • Ensure that own actions plus those of subordinates and contractors are conducted in accordance with company’s HSE management system. Specific accountabilities are set out in company HSE policy, Commitment and Accountabilities booklet(latest version ). • Single point responsible for the efficient execution of assigned projects to deliver within schedule, cost and at an acceptable quality. • Develop scope of work handed over by company project engineer for each projects to achieve the specified deliverables. Develop cost and schedule control estimates and project key control documentation. • Responsible for management of all project reporting , interface definition interface management, liaison with company project engineers, maintain and control project variance logs project audit report, managing close out of audit action items, early highlight and resolution of project issues. • Exercising control over manpower and material resources in order to execute the project within budget, schedule , quality and HSE requirements.
