Our client, a leading company in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Controller to join their team in Abu Dhabi. As a Senior Project Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of multiple projects and ensuring their successful completion within budget and on time. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Monitor project costs and expenses to ensure they stay within budget
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders
- Identify and analyze potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines and finances
- Collaborate with project teams to develop cost-effective solutions and strategies
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and clients
- Manage project invoicing and ensure timely payments from clients
- Mentor and train junior project controllers on financial processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Emirati nationality is a must
- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controlling, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
- Strong understanding of project management principles and financial concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required
