SUMMARY



In this role, you will be accountable for managing assigned construction projects to completion within established budget, time, and quality standards.

You are responsible for business development activities, including supporting clients in new property procurement, planning and preparing all contract administration, monitoring field installation process and execution, directing and coaching personnel, and maintaining client relationships. As a manager and/or senior technical professional, you will work to specific measurable objectives requiring operational planning skills, with little direct supervision. You have considerable latitude for making decisions within your unit, and direct budgetary responsibilities.

Within our team you will work closely with Estimating, Accounting, Business Development, Field Personnel, and other support staff. Externally, you will work closely with owners, owner representatives, architects, engineers, trade contractors, vendors, and others who are associated with the assigned project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Coordinate with Business Development leadership in assignment of business development and marketing resources.

Assist clients in new project procurement with due diligent activities, conceptual estimating, understanding regulatory requirements, and coordinating third party studies.

Assume leadership in contract development opportunities of assigned "qualified" project leads.

Coordinate with Operations leadership in assignment of operations resources.

Participate in strategy meetings to determine contract procurement approach, identification of additional intelligence needs, and assignment of deliverables measured by the leadership provided in these meetings.

Contribute to market intelligence gathering measured by the volume of project knowledge accrued.

For Design Build projects, take lead in execution of strategy in Project Team development.

For lease back/development opportunities, take lead execution of strategy and deliverables as assigned.

Provides a leadership role in timely contribution of writing assignments and other business development deliverables, reviewing proposals and presentations/interviews measured the overall quality or the final product.

Participate in final review of proposals and presentations, as assigned.

Lead in contract negotiations with clients measured by the review of contract terms, production of Effort Schedules and fee structures with team approval.

Manage pre-construction services for projects assigned as Project Executive measured by timely completion and coordination of the following activities: Coordinate estimating schedule, Review estimates with internal team. Assure constructability reviews. Attend estimate meetings with Owner and Architect. Provide oversight of value analysis, Development of Division 0 and Division 1 documents, and bid and award activities.

Provide oversight of construction phase activities for all CM projects and ensure compliance with objectives, corporate goals and client satisfaction measured by actual final budget, schedule, safety, and quality results compared to initial project metrics.

Oversees quality assurance and quality control. Review schedule achievement measured by actual versus original schedule goals. Promotes, reinforces, and monitors safety program routinely to conform to government regulations and corporate safety policies and procedures.
Monitor job cost reports for budget compliance in order to complete project within established budget, paying special attention to construction contingency measured by final project financials compared to initial budget.

Conduct monthly meetings with Project Teams to review all aspects of their projects.

Provide monthly reports to leadership for assigned projects, updating project progress, achievement of schedule milestones, updating financial status, identification of issues threatening success, and quality and safety compliance.

Attend Owner-Architect meetings in order to monitor and assess the status of construction projects and facilitate proper planning to ascertain compliance with owner's contract (at least one meeting every other month, if not monthly per project).

Promote, reinforce, and monitor the Corporate Health and Safety Management Program routinely to assure that all project participants are actively involved and adhering to the policies and procedures set forth for each specific project while establishing and reinforcing the corporate safety mindset

Support and participate in interview process. Cultivate new relationships with clients, vendors, others, to nurture future partnerships.

Review project personnel performances, identify strengths and weaknesses and enable developmental action by the employee and Company.

Perform other miscellaneous tasks pertaining to project management as requested.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications



Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering. Minimum 15 years of progressive construction experience, typically as a Project Manager, Sr. Project Manager, or other related role, including a minimum of 5 years of customer facing experience in A/E/C industry in Dubai, EAU. BA/BS/AS or other accredited degree may substitute for up to 4 years of experience.

Proven ability to manage the RFQ/RFP process and successfully collaborate across office locations.

Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated problem solving skills and critical thinking skills.

Must hold a valid driver's license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Proficiency with various software applications including: PM software (Procore preferred), Microsoft Suite, Accounting software (Sage preferred) including ability to understand cost spreadsheets, aging report, labor productivity report.

Advanced proficiency in contract administration, Requests for Information, Schedule of Values, preparation and adjustment to monthly billings, preparation of bar chart schedules including predecessors, successors, constraints, float, and lags.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
