Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella - SALT, Parker's, Grind, Somewhere, Public, Soil and Kumo.
We are presently seeking to hire a highly qualified Senior Production Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the production process, from planning and scheduling to execution and quality control. This role is critical for ensuring that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards. The Senior Production Manager drives continuous improvement initiatives and serves as the primary link between the production floor, cross-functional teams, and senior management.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Management & Planning

• Production Strategy: Develop and execute production strategies and long-term plans that align with overall company goals and customer demands.
• Budget & Cost Control: Manage the production budget, estimate costs, negotiate resources, and implement measures to optimize resource utilization and control expenses.
• Performance Analysis: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze production data and metrics to identify trends, and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
• Process Optimization: Implement and oversee initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, to enhance production processes, streamline workflows, and drive continuous improvement and productivity.

2. Operational Oversight & Coordination

• Scheduling: Plan, organize, and draw up detailed production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and production targets.
• Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including materials, equipment, facilities, and personnel.
• Supply Chain & Logistics: Coordinate closely with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and the smooth delivery of finished products.
• Equipment Maintenance: Take responsibility for the maintenance of production equipment, organizing the repair and routine service to ensure reliable operations.
