We are a leading metalwork company in the UAE, specializing in structural and architectural metalwork solutions in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Our services include design, fabrication, and supply of heavy engineering parts.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Receive and review drawing packages and requisitions, ensuring all necessary information is readily available.Organize and maintain the planning database to facilitate access for all relevant team members.Assist in developing monthly shop plans based on project requirements and site specifications.Distribute fabrication drawings among fabrication bays according to scheduled plans and loading patterns.Monitor production progress closely and take corrective action as needed to ensure adherence to timelines.Document any changes in fabrication drawings or requirements through formal change orders.Provide regular progress reports to the projects team, keeping them informed of developments.Coordinate various shop floor activities, including handling drawing queries and managing material requirements.Contribute to ongoing improvements in production planning and reporting processes.Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all activities.Fulfill additional duties as assigned to support the successful completion of projects and shop objectives.Forecast raw material requirements for production and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely availability.Prepare nesting plans and materials requisitions for CNC shop and material control department.Liaise with project and design teams to obtain approvals for shop splicing.Maintain accurate records of raw material status and related documentation.Prepare reconciliation statements for raw materials and monitor usage to minimize waste.Maintain a strong focus on product quality and actively seek opportunities for process improvement.Develop daily production schedules considering lead times, deadlines, and available resources.Regularly submit DPR and bi-weekly reports to top management, both electronically and in hardcopy format.Address technical queries from suppliers and ensure project compliance with scope of work requirements.DIMENSIONS:Geographical Coverage: LES - WorkshopCOMPETENCIES:Decisiveness in day-to-day operational issues in consultation with the Operations Director.Self-motivated, energetic, honest, and structured in a working approach.Team player with good communication and analytical skills.Willingness to learn and contribute to organizational growth.

• Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 8+ years of related experience with competency in MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Project
• Must know how to prioritize his production as there will be several projects running at once.
• Must be aware of all the steel material specifications, grades etc.
• Must have strong coordination skills and be in touch with his SITE team / Managers/Designers to understand the workflow and deliver material on time.
