The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, contract management, and supplier relations, with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
Maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors while ensuring compliance with defense procurement regulations.
Review and evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans when necessary.
Prepare purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and track inventory levels to ensure seamless operations.
Collaborate with project managers and other departments to identify procurement requirements.
Ensure compliance with UAE laws, company policies, and military standards.
Lead, mentor, and support junior procurement staff.
Analyze market trends and provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in defense, military, or government sectors.
Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, contract management, and UAE defense regulations.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
