Job Title:

Procurement Engineer - High-Rise Construction Projects

Location:

DUBAI

We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced

Procurement Engineer

with a strong background in

high-rise building projects

within the

construction and contracting industry

. The ideal candidate must have

at least 5 years of UAE experience

and be capable of managing the entire procurement cycle, including sourcing, negotiation, and delivery coordination for complex civil and structural packages.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage procurement activities for

high-rise building construction projects

, including structural, architectural, and MEP materials. Review project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare procurement schedules and material submittals. Prepare and float RFQs/RFPs, evaluate technical and commercial offers, and finalize vendor selection. Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure materials and equipment meet project quality standards and specifications. Monitor material lead times and coordinate timely delivery to project sites to avoid delays. Build and maintain strong supplier/vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement solutions. Coordinate closely with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and logistics teams. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and contract obligations. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier evaluations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

is

mandatory

. Minimum

5 years of proven UAE experience

in

construction procurement

, particularly with

high-rise buildings

. In-depth knowledge of

construction materials

, especially related to high-rise structures (e.g., concrete, rebar, facade systems, elevators, MEP components). Strong understanding of

local market suppliers

, pricing trends, and import logistics. Proficiency in procurement software and tools (ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Excellent analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Valid UAE Driving License

and willingness to travel between project sites and supplier locations.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

Experience working with consultants and contractors in large-scale residential or commercial towers. Familiarity with

FIDIC

or similar standard contract forms. Ability to manage multiple procurement packages concurrently. Strong documentation and reporting skills.
