Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end subcontract procurement activities for multiple engineering projects.
• Prepare and issue subcontract ITTs (Invitations to Tender) in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
• Evaluate subcontractor qualifications, ensuring prequalification criteria are met before engagement.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive supplier and subcontractor database.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations to ensure consistency in quality and service.
• Support project teams by ensuring timely availability of materials and subcontracted services.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across all procurement processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering within project procurement scopes.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to support operational efficiency.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement within a main contracting environment in the UAE.
• Strong background in material and subcontractor sourcing for large-scale engineering projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced negotiation and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software, MS Office, and ERP systems.
• Attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
