Job Description
We are a well-established civil construction company seeking an experienced
Senior Procurement Engineer
to manage procurement activities for ongoing and upcoming projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and subcontract services while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement for civil construction projects Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors Finalize purchase orders and subcontract agreements in coordination with contracts and project teams Ensure timely procurement of materials in line with project schedules Develop and maintain supplier and vendor relationships Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of construction materials Coordinate with planning, QS, and site teams for material requirements Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures Prepare procurement reports and documentation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Minimum
5 years' experience
in procurement within a civil construction company Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and subcontracting practices Experience with infrastructure / building / road projects (as applicable) Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement documentation UAE experience preferredJob Type: Full-time
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
