Preventive Maintenance & Safety Compliance: Formulate preventive maintenance schedules and Safety Critical Element (SCE) templates, integrating vendor data and technical specifications for optimal equipment performance.

Procurement Engineer

Expertise in Procurement: Specialized in sourcing critical raw materials such as Steel, Cement, Aggregates, MEP materials, consumables, and spare parts for construction equipment and automobiles. Strategic Management: Spearhead the preparation and analysis of MIS reports, stock verification, and inventory audits, ensuring operational efficiency and accurate reporting. Cross-functional Coordination: Effectively collaborate with multiple project sites to address daily material needs, optimizing supply chain processes and ensuring uninterrupted operations. Indent and Vendor Management: Oversee the collection and processing of indents from various sites, obtaining approvals from VP, and managing quotation collections from a diverse supplier base. Vendor Development, Evaluation & Negotiation: Continuously identify and onboard new vendors, aligning procurement strategies with organizational goals and requirements. Conduct in-depth vendor analysis, prepare comprehensive comparison sheets, and negotiate favorable contracts for production materials and services, ensuring cost efficiency and supply reliability. Inventory & Cost Control: Implement stock control systems and rigorous inventory management techniques to minimize costs while ensuring material availability for production schedules. SAP Proficiency: Leverage SAP MM for end-to-end procurement functions including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), stock control, inventory management, and perpetual reconciliation. Asset & Stock Reconciliation: Lead fixed asset stock verification and resolve discrepancies between departmental and vendor records through methodical reconciliation processes. Supplier Relationship Management: Ensure timely material delivery and dispatch by proactively following up with suppliers on Head Office (HO) and local purchase orders, enhancing supplier reliability. Quality Control & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of aggregate, steel reports, and test certificates, ensuring material compliance with quality standards. Logistics & Warehouse Management: Oversee material warehouse operations and logistics, streamlining the storage, dispatch, and tracking of materials for optimal flow and organization. Equipment & Asset Management: Develop and update equipment master data, create asset hierarchies, and identify safety-critical elements, ensuring compliance with performance standards and assurance measures. Comprehensive Material Management: Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for equipment, utilizing vendor-recommended spare parts lists, and ensuring seamless linkage between material numbers and equipment. Industry Knowledge: Possess an extensive understanding of oil and gas products, contributing to informed procurement decisions and operational safety. Supply Chain Optimization: Utilize SAP MM and supply chain management principles to drive procurement efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Leadership & Reporting: Report directly to the Head of Commercial, providing detailed analyses of schedule trends and procurement performance.
