Senior Procurement Engineer

to manage sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and procurement operations that drive quality, cost savings, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead procurement activities for engineering materials, equipment, and services. Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with project requirements and timelines. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service. Collaborate with engineering, planning, and project management teams to ensure timely material availability. Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, conduct negotiations, and issue purchase orders. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Mitigate risks through effective vendor management and alternative sourcing strategies. Monitor market trends, pricing, and innovations to support cost optimization. Maintain procurement documentation, reports, and KPIs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an engineering or technical environment. Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills. Knowledge of procurement software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office Suite. Familiarity with industry standards and contract management. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
