Job Summary:

The

Senior Procurement Engineer

is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement process for landscaping projects, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining quality and compliance. This role requires strong negotiation skills, supplier relationship management, and a strategic approach to procurement planning to support project execution efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Supplier Management:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of landscaping materials and services. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve optimal value for the company. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Cost & Budget Control:

Prepare procurement cost estimates and budget forecasts for landscaping projects. Conduct market analysis to assess pricing trends and cost-saving opportunities. Ensure procurement activities align with financial targets and project budgets.

Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure all procurement transactions comply with company policies and industry regulations. Manage purchase orders, contracts, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with project schedules.

Technical & Project Coordination:

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand material specifications and project needs. Source landscape-related materials such as plants, irrigation systems, hardscape elements, and specialized equipment. Provide technical insights into material selection, sustainability considerations, and supplier capabilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Procurement, or a related field. Extensive experience in

procurement within the landscaping, construction, or infrastructure sector

. Strong knowledge of

local and international supplier markets for landscaping materials

. Expertise in

contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis

. Proficiency in

ERP systems and procurement software

. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
