Wood is currently inviting expressions of interest for a Senior Process Engineer - CCUS role for our Engineering to be based in Oman.
Please note that the position is subject to project award.
Job Purpose Supervise a team of process engineers to translate the limited information from the Concept Selection Report and/or Basis for Design to a full process design and project specifications Supervise a team of process engineers to carry out the Process Engineering activities (Define stage) for an assigned area of a specific project in order to generate the relevant Process Engineering deliverables on time according to DCAF requirements. Below are some key responsibilities and duties: Prepare Process Engineering Cost, Time and Resource (CTR) Catalogue for projects. Supervise a team of process engineers assigned to a project area (supervised by Project process Lead) Contribute to Basis for Design, Basis of Design, and Project Specifications / Philosophies Carry out / review Process Simulations Models and Flare & Blowdown Simulations Generate / review Heat & Material Balance (H&MB) Tables Develop/review Process/Utility Flow Schemes and Control Narrative Develop/review Process/Utility Engineering Flow Schemes and Process Safeguarding Flow Schemes Review Sizing for Process Equipment and Relief Valves Carry out/review Line Hydraulics and provide/review Inputs to Line Listing Develop/review Safeguarding Memorandum Carry out Process Engineering Studies Participate in Design Reviews, HAZOP's, IPF Classifications, 3D Model review, Plot plan, etc. Implement, practice, and monitor Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition requirements Manage Process Inputs to:o Material Selection Report.o Cause & Effect Diagrams and Alarm & Trip Setting.o Instrument Data Sheets.o Hazardous Area Classification Schedule Initiate, check, and/or approve Process Engineering Deliverables. Skills / Qualifications
Degree in Chemical Engineering Minimum 6 years in FEED / ENGINEERING and Minimum 10 years in oil and gas Experience Work in a matrix organization and handle multiple reporting relationships and project responsibilities Working effectively with diverse, multi-cultural teams, peers, and stakeholders Fluent in English both written and spoken Company Overview
