Responsible for executing, leading and coordinating relevant delivery of process engineering activities associated with Ammonia production and synthesis plant
Must have Ammonia Plant Design experience at Concept, FEED or Detailed Design/ EPC phase and have awareness of Licensed technologies.
Demonstrable experience in synthesis processes, technologies and plant design including Haber Bosch, Fischer Tropsch etc.
Act as process team lead for feasibility and concept study, pre-FEED, FEED, basic engineering for the assigned projects.
Thorough design and implementation knowledge of various process and state of the art technologies based on techno commercial evaluation.
Conceptual development of project scope.
Development of initial design calculations and preparation of conceptual diagrams.
Selection and implementation of correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new projects and designs and/or improvements for existing designs.
Prepare/Review of process simulations to model plant behaviour and operating conditions to optimize process design and equipment sizing/rating.
Application Requirements:
Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in design and consultancy for Ammonia processing facilities and Fertilizer industry.
Good Overview about most important process licensors and technologies. Actual project experience with at least 2 different licensed processes.
Experienced in the execution of conceptual studies, optimization work and front end engineering design stage of projects.
Familiarity with industry-wide process simulation modelling software.
Minimum 5 years working experience as a lead engineer.
Academic Education to BS or equivalent level minimum in Chemical Engineering from accredited University. Postgraduate degree will be an advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication, report writing and presentation skills.
