The Role:
An experienced consulting professional, you will be a thought leader in the CMT industry and a key advisor to defining solutions and will be on point to help clients define and realize expected value through transformation initiatives. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the rapidly transforming business model of the CMT sector. You will have experience across one or more of the sub-sectors of the CMT industry (communications, media, or Technology) and will have a broad understanding of industry solutions and best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs deployed across CMT companies. We focus on solutions and capabilities the current and emerging areas focused on by our clients, including:

• Vision and Strategy: Define the vision and roadmap aligned with the organization's strategic goals. Identify and prioritize opportunities and improvements that drive value for both internal and external users.
• Lean Operations: Cost optimization and restructuring for communications services providers front office and back-office operations and IT, leveraging technologies such as Automation, IoT, Blockchain, AI/ML, Cloud and Big Data
• Growth: Driving revenue increase through new age products and services launch, customer retention with cross-sell and upsell strategy and creating new partner ecosystem for platform-based business models
• Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends including AI/GenAI and Automations. Foster a culture of innovation by integrating new tools and practices that enhance the platform's capabilities.

As a Senior Principal in Business Consulting, you will lead major projects and serve as a key customer-facing member of the Infosys CMT Consulting team. You will contribute to the development of solutions to solve business problems and increase adoption of Infosys driven solutions. This position is responsible for delivering actionable value across the CMT ecosystem. You will operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement and perform varied and complex duties and tasks that require independent judgment.
General Consulting Skills / Experience
15+ years relevant experience

• Telecoms and Media
• Projects and Technology delivery

Business Development

• Shaping and sales of advisory programs (engagements of >$250k, Annual Sales supported >$1.7m)
• Evidence of relationships within top tier Telecom and Media clients

Project Delivery

• Evidence of successfully leading advisory and technology delivery programs of >$1m
• Ability to operate across a portfolio of projects
• Familiarity with agile delivery
• Experience in delivering with nearshore and offshore teams

Soft consulting skills

• Gravitas, able to operate at CXO level
• Strong business acumen
• Very strong written and spoken communications
• Team leadership and mentoring

Specialist Skills / Experience
Large scale programme leadership experience, which could include 2 or more of

• Digital
• BSS/OSS
• Delivery and integration of best of breed technologies
• Monitoring Tools (FCAPS)

Subject matter expertise in Telco specific topics and able to lead executive discussions in;

• Telco Advisory (TOM/Process Transformation/Cost Takeout/Cloud & Infra strategy/ Product Portfolio Optimization/Application Portfolio Optimization)
• Technology - AI/ML, RPA, IoT, 5G, Blockchain
• Transformation Governance
