About the role
As a Sales Solution Consultant - PreSales, you\xe2\x80\x99ll utilize your in-depth product knowledge to help sales staff uncover requirements and recommend solutions. Your unique expertise will help us advance the way the world pays, banks and invests, while you advance your own career with a growing, global organization.
About the team
Based in Dubai the team works closely with FIS Regional customer base including leading banks and central banks. Within FIS The team works closely with FIS Global product organization to bring the full value of FIS unmatched product set to the regional business each year successfully introducing new product lines.
What you will be doing
To support sales representatives in qualification of FIS Solution prospects and developing the opportunity through to contract.
To be fully conversant with, and informed of, evolving payments industry trends.
To work with the internal product Organisation to define emerging propositions where appropriate.
To provide expert solution consultancy to the prospect and internally.
To own the individual client solution.
Create and maintain product presentations.
Develop and present proposals to Business Review for approval.
Develop appropriate proposals to meet client/prospect business requirements.
Identify and prioritize functionality gaps with sales representatives and clients/prospects, initiate process to obtain estimates to address functionality gaps or define appropriate workarounds.
Interact with vendors and other organizations where appropriate to evaluate third-party vendor opportunities and solutions.
Participate in business requirements review with clients/prospects.
Play an integral role in the sales process utilizing SME knowledge of products and their capabilities to assist sales executives in addressing client/prospect requirements.
Provide feedback on client/prospect requirements to FIS product managers.
Manage the process to produce Request for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFI) responses; solution definition, content production and sourcing, overall quality control.
Set up and deliver product presentations/demonstrations to clients/prospects either in person or via web-based tools
What you bring
Expert/detailed knowledge of one or more specialist areas is required, understanding of the remaining areas would be an advantage.

Card Payments and Switching
Enterprise Financial Crime Prevention
eCommerce
Payment Hubs, Non-Card Payments
Central Payments Infrastructures \xe2\x80\x93 National Switch, ACH, RTGS, Mobile and Instant Payment Schemes
Client focused approach with Effective, articulate interaction and communication (client-facing, peers and senior management colleagues).
Familiarity with competitors and their products & services.
Business and technical knowledge of local card issuing and acquiring.
Understanding of the business flow, typical business requirements, scheme and technical requirements to support card programme management.
Knowledge of the typical business requirements that are expected in a cards proposition \xe2\x80\x93 debit, credit, pre-paid, lending.
Knowledge of supporting propositions such as chargeback, fraud prevention.
Business and technical knowledge of enterprise financial crime prevention
Business and technical knowledge of mobile and instant payments schemes
Business and technical knowledge of ACH, RTGS Schemes
Understanding of the business flow, scheme requirements and technical requirements to support these payment schemes.
Detailed knowledge of the typical business requirements that are expected in a payments proposition \xe2\x80\x93 all schemes.
Knowledge of industries applicable to FIS solutions.
Bid management and Professional presentation skills.
Willingness to travel (up to 30% of the time).
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
