Overview
The Presales Consultant\'s primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership to sales account manager during whole sales cycles. The activities include but not limited to: developing opportunity working with sales & marketing, attending internal/external meetings and provide ideas, opinions to achieve the meeting goals, providing technical presentation and demos, providing architecture or technical write-ups for proposal work, providing product or solution training to internal team and external customer.

To perform above mentioned activities this role will involve working closely with key teams within AVEVA, especially Marketing, Sales, Delivery, Customer Support, Business Units, R&D to identify, develop and maintain best offerings to help customers to satisfy their needs, to solve their problems in competitive environments. This role should keep learning about new technology, industry trends, competitors\xe2\x80\x99 information, so that he/she can clearly articulate our unique value proposition to target customer.

During the course of the consultant\xe2\x80\x99s work frequent travel (including international travel) may be required, and they will be expected to uphold the AVEVA values at all times: Impact, Aspiration, Curiosity and Trust. Principal Accountabilities

• Creating and maintaining customer presentations and demos with clear value propositions.
• Developing and maintaining sales opportunities captured in the CRM(Salesforce) by working closely with marketing and sales.
• Activities including sales support, marketing event support, proposal support, study will be captured in the CRM
• Learning & development to upskill his/her core skill set and learn other solutions to expand scope is required.

Knowledge Skills & Experience Required:

• 15+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of Supply Chain Management in Oil & Gas Downstream Industry.
• Experience of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain including ASSAY (Crude & feedstock modeling and knowledge management), PLAN (Plant optimization with integrated Analytics and multi-period), NETWORK (Supply & distribution network optimization), SCHEDULE (Plant scheduling including feed and blend optimization), PROCESS MODEL GENERATOR (Base Delta regression from plant and simulator data). Experience of Solutions equivalent competitors\xe2\x80\x99 is acceptable. However hands on experience of modeling USC solutions is must.
• Experience of working with solutions for Process Optimization, Offsites (Tank Management, Order Movements, Blend Optimization) and Production Accounting (Yield Accounting and Reconcile Flows) is an added advantage.
• An ability to operate effectively as a member of a dynamic team within a matrixed organization, often working across multiple countries and time zones.
• Possesses excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Invests in own self-study related to industry, software and supporting technologies.
