About the Role
Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned tech clients, understanding their unique needs, objectives, and challenges. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure their PR goals are met and exceeded.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop comprehensive PR strategies that align with their business objectives and resonate with target audiences. Leverage industry insights to recommend innovative approaches for maximum impact.
Media Relations: Foster and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the tech sector. Proactively pitch and secure media coverage for clients in top-tier publications, both locally and internationally.
Content Creation: Develop high-quality, compelling content including press releases, bylined articles, blog posts, and more. Tailor content to effectively convey complex tech concepts in an engaging and understandable manner.
Campaign Execution: Lead the execution of PR campaigns, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure all deliverables are met on time and within budget. Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates to clients, making necessary adjustments for optimal results.
Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and support tech-related events, such as product launches, trade shows, and press conferences. Ensure seamless execution and maximum media attendance.
Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports to clients on the impact of PR efforts. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and showcase the value of PR initiatives.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, offering support in their professional growth and development within the agency.
About the Candidate
Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations
Strong network of media contacts both locally and internationally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives
Proven track record of successfully managing and executing PR campaigns from start to finish
Familiarity with emerging technology trends and the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible content
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in digital PR tools and platforms
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
