Key Responsibilities

• Provide programme planning and scheduling management for a portfolio of projects or a single major development
• Advise internal teams and clients on realistic project timelines aligned with development plans
• Prepare detailed programmes and accurate cash flow forecasts for finance teams, lenders, and partners
• Support feasibility studies and project development presentations
• Define and agree project measurement systems and key performance indicators with consultants and contractors
• Produce monthly reports on programme status, risks, and mitigation actions across the portfolio
• Perform critical path analysis and manage time impact assessments related to design or construction changes
• Maintain accurate records and communications with consultants and contractors
• Review contractor progress reports and assess claims related to delay and disruption

People and Coordination

• Attend project meetings and monitor progress in coordination with the project management team
• Ensure teams are fully informed of programme issues through clear communication and alignment
• Work closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders to resolve planning and scheduling challenges

Process and Governance

• Review consultant and contractor reports using standard reporting formats to ensure compliance
• Ensure internal approvals are obtained in line with group governance and procedures
• Implement and improve planning and scheduling processes to enhance time management services

Customer Focus

• Act as the primary planning interface between customers and the Projects and Development department
• Ensure programme and budget requirements are met to achieve high customer satisfaction

Ideal Profile

• Engineering degree from a recognized university
• Minimum fifteen years of experience across engineering, procurement, construction, and planning functions
• At least ten years in a senior planning management role with team supervision responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and local regulations
• Proven experience in budget forecasting, cash flow preparation, and multi-project schedule development

Skills Set

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera Expedition, and MS Project
• Strong analytical capability for critical path and schedule risk analysis
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
• High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage complex programmes in high-pressure environments
