Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Senior Planning Engineer

to join our construction team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and scheduling high-rise building projects, with hands-on experience in Primavera P6 and excellent coordination with engineering, procurement, and site execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 for high-rise tower construction. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of projects. Analyze critical paths, project milestones, and progress trends to proactively address delays. Prepare baseline schedules, revised schedules, recovery plans, and extension of time (EOT) claims. Monitor progress against the schedule, prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, and highlight areas of concern. Support the preparation of procurement and construction schedules in line with project requirements. Conduct schedule risk analysis and scenario planning for mitigation strategies. Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to align their schedules with overall project plans. Ensure that planning and scheduling standards, tools, and best practices are consistently applied across the project. Assist in resource and cost loading, and tracking of earned value progress. Interface with clients, consultants, and authorities for reporting and planning-related communication.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling, with at least 3 years working on high-rise tower projects in the UAE. Strong proficiency in

Primavera P6

, MS Project, and MS Excel. Deep understanding of construction sequencing and methods for high-rise structures. Familiarity with Sharjah and UAE regulatory bodies and construction approval processes. Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills. Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost control principles is a plus.
