Job Profile: Planning & Scheduling Engineer - Fabrication Projects

Position Title: Planning & Scheduling Engineer

Reporting To: Project Manager

Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Objective:

To develop and control the master schedule for the fabrication customized generator canopies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain the project's detailed production schedule.

- Track daily progress and compare it against baseline plans.

- Forecast material and manpower needs and coordinate with relevant departments.

- Create daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards and Gantt charts.

- Support procurement in identifying lead-time items.

- Raise early warning alerts to management in case of delay risks.

- Participate in internal planning reviews and client progress meetings.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.

- 3-5 years' experience in industrial project scheduling.

- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera.

- Knowledge of fabrication workflows and machine capacities.

- Analytical and proactive problem-solving attitude.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- On-schedule delivery adherence

- Timeliness of reporting and updates

- Accuracy of material and manpower forecasts

- Delay mitigation and response effectiveness

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
