Senior Planning Engineer - Hotel Projects Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates :We are currently in search of a seasoned Senior Planning Engineer with a strong background in hotel project planning and execution. The role will be based in Ras Al Khaimah, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in steering complex hotel construction and refurbishment projects to timely and successful completion. - Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring all hotel project milestones are achieved within the agreed timeframes.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, construction teams, and various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Apply expert knowledge of construction practices to analyze project proposals and identify the most efficient execution methods.
- Prepare in-depth project reports and provide actionable insights to senior management and clients.
- Offer mentorship and support to junior planning staff and project team members.
- Formulate and enforce risk management strategies to minimize project delays and financial risks.
- Ensure strict adherence to the UAE\'s construction standards, legal requirements, and safety regulations.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, maintaining clear and open communication channels between all parties involved.
- Leverage advanced project management software to maintain a transparent and real-time project progress tracking system.
- Adjust project plans based on site progress reviews, ensuring seamless alignment with project goals.
- Liaise with procurement and finance departments to synchronize project timelines with budgetary constraints and material sourcing.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant technical discipline.
- At least 10-15 years of specialized experience in planning and project management within the hotel sector.
- Mastery of project management tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Proficient understanding of construction engineering principles and project management best practices.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, coupled with superb time management and organizational skills.
- Advanced analytical skills with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is highly regarded.
- Extensive knowledge of the local construction regulations and building standards in the UAE, particularly in Ras Al Khaimah.
