Job Title - Senior Planning Engineer (FITOUT)

Purpose of the role:

The Senior Planning Engineer plays a pivotal role in coordinating, planning, and scheduling various project activities for the team to ensure timely and efficient project execution. This role involves developing comprehensive project schedules, analysing progress, and recommending adjustments to meet project objectives within the prescribed time frame.

Functional deliverables

For the assigned project/tender, develop and maintain Contract programmes, internal project schedules, timelines, and resource plans using Primavera P6 application Collaborate with project teams to gather project data, monitor progress, and identify potential risks or delays. Analyse critical paths, risks, and constraints, providing recommendations for resolution. Maintain accurate documentation, including records of changes, issues, and relevant communications related to planning deliverable Align with project team on the scope with project timelines and manage updates as & when the variations arise. Maintain a live, realistic, and deliverable project program with up to 85% accuracy. Forecast productivity-based manpower requirements for the projects assigned (80%+ accuracy). Delay analysis - Preparation of extension of time claim, using TIA/Window analysis & delay notices Preparation of progress reports/presentations for Client/Consultant submission Foster effective collaboration among project teams and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met

General Responsibilities

Always prioritize keeping employee information and sensitive data confidential Accurate and On Time submissions of the tasks assigned by Head of planning Maintain supportive documentation to substantiate the progress/logics & other planning information considered while preparing the programme Ensure ISO-aligned documentation and methodology in planning workflows. Identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative solutions for enhanced project efficiency Be supportive to the project team Ensure full compliance with the instruction/directions of Head of Planning Mentor, support, supervise Junior/Planning engineers under her/him.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in Primavera P6 Software Advanced understanding of construction/facilities management principles. Deep knowledge of construction sequencing and commercial integration. Analytical mindset with experience in cash flow and manpower forecasting. Adaptive and resilient approach to address challenges and changes effectively. ISO process understanding from planning lens. Proficiency in project planning tools. Team management & development

Qualifications:

Holds bachelor degree in Civil/Architecture Experience: 7-10 years in UAE industry, out of which 3-5 years exclusively in interior fitout projects. Possess advanced knowledge in Primavera software (Hands-on) Deep knowledge of Fitout & MEP sequencing and commercial integration. Possess good knowledge of delay analysis and preparation of delay notices Possess good knowledge productivity rates Successfully handled consultant/client planners
