Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Planning Engineer

to join our project and cost management team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring within the construction industry, with the ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and deliver accurate progress reporting.

You will be responsible for developing baseline schedules, tracking project performance, preparing progress reports, and supporting project management teams in delivering successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and maintain project

baseline schedules

using

Primavera P6

& MS Project. Monitor project progress, analyze delays, and prepare

recovery plans

. Prepare weekly and monthly

progress reports

, dashboards, and KPIs. Conduct

critical path analysis

, resource allocation, and forecasting. Coordinate with project managers, QS teams, consultants, and site engineers. Assist with tender programs, method statements, and planning deliverables. Track project milestones, risks, and potential schedule impacts. Support cost-time integration and maintain project tracking systems. Attend management and client meetings to present schedule status.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

in Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum 10+ years of experience

in project planning within the construction sector.

5+ years UAE experience

in large-scale building or infrastructure projects. Strong proficiency in

Primavera P6

, MS Project, and Excel-based reporting. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, planning methodology, and project management processes. Experience in consultancy or client-side roles preferred. Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
