Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead project planning and scheduling efforts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Ensure that development timelines, resources, and milestones are well-coordinated and aligned with strategic goals. The Senior Planning Engineer will be instrumental in driving project efficiency and supporting the successful delivery of real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed project schedules (baseline and revised), resource plans, and cash flow projections for all stages of development. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates, including variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to integrate their inputs into a unified master schedule. Conduct delay analysis and prepare extension of time (EOT) claims with justifications, if required. Participate in procurement planning and ensure timely availability of long-lead items and contractor mobilization. Support feasibility studies and project budgeting by providing time-related inputs and phasing plans. Generate weekly and monthly reports on project status for senior management and stakeholders. Conduct risk assessments and scenario planning to mitigate schedule-related risks. Ensure adherence to local regulatory and authority timelines (e.g., DLD, RERA, DM). Contribute to post-project reviews to document lessons learned and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 8-10 years of planning experience, preferably with a leading property developer or main contractor in the UAE/GCC. Proficiency in
