Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer

Location: Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE

Experience: 5-10 Years (UAE Contracting Experience Required)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Planning Engineer to join our contracting team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, ensuring efficient coordination across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction stages to meet project timelines and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) aligned with the overall project program and scope. Analyze planning data to create time-based and resource-based schedules for project execution. Maintain accurate progress data for assigned projects, preparing periodic progress reports and forecasts for senior management. Prepare and update comprehensive Project Resource Plans to ensure optimal resource allocation. Monitor and update Engineering Deliverables and maintain associated trackers. Oversee the development, monitoring, and updating of the Construction Schedule and progress trackers. Track and update Procurement Deliverables in coordination with the Procurement and Project teams. Develop Micro Plans and detailed work schedules for major project activities to ensure critical path delivery. Review and assess subcontractors' planning submissions, verifying accuracy and alignment with the project schedule. Provide early warnings and propose corrective actions for any schedule slippages or delays.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 5-10 years of planning experience in the UAE construction industry, preferably with a contracting company. Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent knowledge of project controls, scheduling methodologies, and construction workflows. Strong communication and reporting skills.
