We are currently looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team and support our ongoing and upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including resource allocation and progress tracking
- Review and analyze project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints
- Coordinate with project team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential delays or issues
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to management, highlighting any critical areas
- Utilize project management software to track project progress and update schedules accordingly
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of project plans with company goals and objectives
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on scheduling and planning matters
- Mentor and train junior planning engineers and provide guidance on best practices and industry standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the real estate or construction industry
- Advanced knowledge of project management software, such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling techniques and methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a team player
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of UAE laws and regulations related to construction and real estate is a plus
