Senior Planning Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a strong background in building projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in project planning, scheduling, and progress control, ensuring successful delivery of complex construction projects in compliance with Ashghal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera (P6). Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to ensure timely project execution. Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and delay analyses. Identify project risks and propose mitigation strategies. Ensure full compliance with Ashghal procedures and reporting formats. Provide planning support for tendering, execution, and project close-out phases.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (mandatory). Minimum 15 years of total experience in construction planning. At least 5 years of proven experience working with Ashghal projects in Qatar. Strong background in building projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure). Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel. Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred:

MMUP / UPDA Certification. PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage. Familiarity with Ashghal project management systems and standards.

Pay: QAR14,000.00 - QAR18,000.00 per month
