Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Senior Planning Engineer

to lead the planning, scheduling, and project control functions for complex engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, scheduling software, and progress tracking with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project. Prepare baseline schedules and update programs in coordination with project teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction phases. Analyze project performance and identify potential schedule risks or delays, proposing mitigation strategies. Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, delay analysis, and recovery plans for management and stakeholders. Lead the planning and scheduling efforts during the bid, execution, and close-out phases of projects. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and contractors to ensure accurate schedule inputs and real-time updates. Participate in project meetings, provide planning input, and advise on progress and recovery actions as required. Monitor critical paths and interfaces between design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Support cost control and resource planning functions, including earned value management (EVM) when applicable.
