Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project master schedules, incorporating all phases, tasks, milestones, and deliverables (e.g., engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to accurately reflect project scope and tasks.
Establish and communicate project baselines for schedule and cost.
Monitor project progress against established baselines, identifying deviations, delays, and potential risks.
Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates on schedule performance, resource utilization, and potential impacts on project outcomes.
Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern.
Implement corrective and recovery actions to mitigate delays and maintain the project schedule.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential issues that could impact project timelines or budget.
Develop and implement mitigation strategies for identified risks.
Prepare and distribute accurate and insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing project schedules, progress, and performance indicators for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly reports, S-curves, histograms).
Facilitate meetings to review, re-prioritize, and manage schedule changes.
Work with quality control teams to ensure construction activities meet required standards.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior planning engineers and project teams.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Civil
15 years of experience in GCC as a planner
Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 (highly preferred), Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
