Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team at Tristar Engineering & Construction LLC. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and manage detailed project schedules using industry-leading tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment of workstreams and schedules while providing planning support for a variety of infrastructure and utilities projects.Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer, ideally within infrastructure or heavy civil works.

- Proficiency in project scheduling software, specifically Primavera P6 and MS Project.

- Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify potential delays and develop mitigation strategies.

- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Familiarity with resource allocation strategies involving manpower, equipment, and materials.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.

- Experience in mentoring junior planners and promoting best practices within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive project schedules, ensuring timely delivery.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to align workstreams and coordinate schedules effectively.

- Provide detailed planning support for complex infrastructure projects, including water, sewerage, and electrical works.

- Identify potential project delays and proactively devise contingency strategies to mitigate risks.

- Prepare and present progress reports, forecasts, and exception reports for stakeholders and senior management.
