Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Senior Planning Engineer

to lead project planning and scheduling activities for oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Primavera P6 and will support project controls, cost estimation, progress tracking, and reporting to ensure on-time and on-budget project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project execution plans. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to gather schedule input and updates. Analyze project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend recovery plans to maintain target milestones. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, manpower histograms, look-ahead schedules, and delay analyses. Track project KPIs and variances against baselines, including critical path, float, and earned value metrics. Participate in project meetings and support management with planning-related data for decision-making. Ensure compliance with project planning procedures, client requirements, and contract obligations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or equivalent). Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning, preferably in oil & gas EPC or PMC projects. Proficiency in

Primavera P6

and

MS Project

. Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling techniques, WBS, and cost engineering principles. Experience in analyzing and reporting on project progress and schedule risk. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience on ADNOC or Middle East-based oil & gas projects. Certification in

Primavera

PMP

, or

Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP)

. Familiarity with contract management, project execution phases, and construction site coordination. Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
