Job Purpose & Scope:

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.

\xc2\xb7 Safe delivery and handover of the Project to the Owner, sustainably, safely, on time, within budget, ensuring
that a quality product is produced that represents \xe2\x80\x98best value\xe2\x80\x99 for the Owner and their Stakeholders.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate and supervise the Mechanical (Pipeline)Engineering aspects of the Project to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, and schedule.

\xc2\xb7 Supervise, oversee and coordinate regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical (Pipeline)related Engineering deliverables developed by the EPC Contractor and technology Licensors, ensuring design

\xc2\xb7 optimization in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices and in close conjunction with Owner\xe2\x80\x99s functional departments.

\xc2\xb7 Co-ordinate and interface with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations, and Maintenance functions to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Engineering execution and integrity.

\xc2\xb7 Principal Accountabilities:

\xc2\xb7 Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.

\xc2\xb7 Reporting to the PMC Engineering Manager and works under his direction.

\xc2\xb7 Identifying, evaluating, and resolving Mechanical (Pipeline) Engineering issues during the EPC phase.

\xc2\xb7 Review and approve within the specified approval durations, the EPC Contractor key deliverables and other works within the Mechanical (Pipeline) discipline, ensuring compliance with Mechanical (Pipeline) design
requirements and the Licensors\xe2\x80\x99 PDP\xe2\x80\x99s, which involves the interpretation and review of calculations,
specifications, plans, investigations, surveys, structures, system or equipment with relatively few complex
features.

\xc2\xb7 Review and approve the following EPC Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s deliverables:
Equipment design and development.

System design, including concept sketches and layouts.

Testing of materials. Specifications and design calculations.

Designs, drawings and data by other Contractors\xe2\x80\x99 or by Vendors.

Engineering studies and reports.

Material Requisitions for equipment & materials

Material quantity estimates.

\xc2\xb7 Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors and prepare comments and recommendations incorporating any comments received from the Owner.

\xc2\xb7 Attend technical meeting with Owner, Licensor, EPC Contractor and Vendors.

\xc2\xb7 Attend all Project technical sessions by the EPC Contractor such as: Design Review Meetings, 3D Model Review

\xc2\xb7 Meeting, Constructability, SIL, EIA,HAZOP and HAZID etc.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s Mechanical (Pipeline)Engineering design activities, system integration, and design selection.

\xc2\xb7 Supervise and manage the review and approval of EPC Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s work, ensuring compliance with Owner and Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practices.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate the required Engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models. Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and
business models to ensure design optimization and validation for the Owner.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate the technical guidance required to develop new specifications and update existing specifications in line with Owner requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate other discipline Engineer\xe2\x80\x99s participation in layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops.

\xc2\xb7 Influence Facilities and Equipment design optimization.

\xc2\xb7 Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline Engineers.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate technical reviews and analysis during vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.

Coordinate the review of technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis.

Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Experience of working within large - mega scope Refining and Petrochemical projects within a multidiscipline environment and of delivering work with global teams

\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of cross-discipline work, interfaces, and sequencing for all phases of a project.

\xc2\xb7 Well versed in project setup, instituting work processes, monitoring a team, execution, and closeout.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in working on large \xe2\x80\x93 mega PMC Projects preferably in the MENA region.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in both FEED and EPC on Pipeline Design for large petrochemical complexes.

\xc2\xb7 Commercial awareness within professional services environment

\xc2\xb7 A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation

\xc2\xb7 Candidates must as a minimum have a BSc / BEng Mechanical degree (or equivalent) in relevant Engineering discipline
