Senior People and Culture Manager

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Senior People and Culture Manager to join our dynamic team and lead on creating a people-centric employee experience.
You will take charge of our People and Culture function. Reporting to the CEO, you will play a crucial role within the senior management team by developing best-fit people practices and making sure our organization is well-equipped for our big ambitions.
You will also roll out a consistent approach to compensation, skills development and talent management that will help keep Hello Chef ahead of the increasing demands for agility, volatility, and complexity involved in the new way of working.
Mission:
The mission of the Senior People and Culture Manager is to lead the way in creating a high-performance culture.
Accountabilities, goals, and outcomes:
  • Create a positive workplace culture by steering employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management framework and the strategies and initiatives that support recruitment, development, and retention. These include performance management, employee development, succession planning, and career pathways.
  • Lead the talent acquisition process, including identifying hiring needs, developing job descriptions, and leading the recruitment process to attract and select top talent.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
  • Collaborate across the organization to implement strategies that energize while developing a people-centric employee experience.
  • Lead our people and culture function, owning and continuously optimizing our organizational development and engagement practices.
  • Gather feedback from all areas of the organization, analyze data and make informed adjustments to procedures that empower teams and drive performance.
  • Serve as an advisor to the CEO and senior management on culture-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to strengthen our values and behaviours and achieve our broader business objectives.
  • Establish and implement an integrated learning and development and performance management system to help employees grow and contribute effectively to achieving organizational performance goals.
  • Drive the development and execution of employee training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Work on identifying and developing high-potential employees for leadership positions to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Lead our people and culture function, owning and continuously optimizing our practices and processes. This includes leading a talented people operations team who will support the organizational development agenda.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • 8+ years of experience in developing and executing strategic people/HR plans, setting clear goals, and providing leadership to drive strategy.
  • 4+ years of deep experience in facilitating organisation development programs to positively influence culture and drive change management projects.
  • Proven skills in building and leading a high-performing people/HR team, setting goals, encouraging collaboration, and empowering team members to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and influence organisational leaders.
  • Strong experience in building the practices and infrastructure that integrates all people disciplines including compensation, performance, skills development and talent management.
  • Experience in managing and engaging across all levels of the organization, with a proven track record of business partnering across a variety of teams in an agile environment.
  • A data-driven approach to all people-based decision-making using effective storytelling to influence management.
